Our Process

At Dunnwell, we try to make the remodeling process as easy as possible for you. Here's how you get started:

Step 1: You Contact Us.

Tell us what you have in mind, and see if it makes sense for us to try and help you accomplish your goal.

Step 2: The Initial Meeting.

We'll meet in your home for about an hour, exchange some information and ask some questions of each other. We're going to want to listen to your ideas and concerns about the remodeling process. This is when we'll discuss approximate timelines, what's involved in doing the work, and an appropriate budget range. This is also the meeting when we'll want to hear from everyone involved in the decision-making process.

Step 3: The Proposal.

We hope you'll want to have Dunnwell work with you after our initial meeting. If all goes well, we'll develop a proposal spelling out the details regarding the project's planned scope of work and cost. And if it turns out your project requires space planning or initial design services, we'll write up a design agreement and develop a rough budget. This will allow our interior designer to start the design process quickly, and minimize any surprises on the back-end of the project.

Step 4: The Decision.

This is where we present you with our proposal. If you like what you see and want to move forward, we'll sign a contract and collect a minimal down payment.

Of course, it's possible you won't like what you see and hear. If that happens, we'll address your concerns right then and there. And after all this, if you think Dunnwell isn't the right remodeler for you, we'll shake hands and walk away as friends.

And you can still call us for advice if you feel you're not being well-served by whomever you choose to work with.
